Löyly Privacy Policy

Löyly is a mobile game made by FHATAL Oy, Finland ("we"). This policy explains what data the game handles.

2. What the Game Stores

• Game progress on your device: your progress (coins, upgrades, seasons, settings) is saved in a file on your phone. It does not leave the device unless you use cloud save.
• Cloud save with Google Play Games (optional): if you sign in to Google Play Games, your saved game is stored in your Google account so you can continue on another device. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy. We receive no personal details from it other than what is needed to load and save your game. You can play without signing in.
• Reminders (optional): if you turn on reminders, the game schedules notifications on your device. Nothing is sent to us.

3. Rewarded Ads (Google AdMob)

The game offers optional ads that you choose to watch for a reward. Ads are provided by Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, Google may process your device’s advertising ID, IP address and device information.

In the EEA, UK and Switzerland we ask for your consent with Google’s consent dialog before any ad is loaded. If you decline, you may still see non-personalised ads. You can change your choice at any time in the game’s Settings. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone’s settings. Buying the ad-free pass removes the need to watch ads.

Google acts under its own policies and may process data outside the EU under the safeguards it uses, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

4. In-App Purchases (Google Play)

Payments are handled by Google Play. We never see your card or payment details. We receive a purchase confirmation (order ID and product) so we can give you what you bought, and Google Play keeps the purchase record so you can restore it.

5. Legal Bases (GDPR Art. 6)

• Personalised ads: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time in the game’s Settings.
• Purchases and cloud save: performance of a contract, so we can deliver what you bought or asked for.
• Purchase records: our legal obligation to keep accounting records under the Finnish Accounting Act.

6. Retention

• Local progress: until you uninstall the game or clear its data.
• Cloud saves: until you delete them in Google Play Games.
• Purchase records: for the statutory accounting period.

7. What We Do Not Collect

We do not use analytics, we do not sell data, and we do not ask for your name, email or location in the game.

8. Children

Löyly is a general audience game and is not directed at children under 13. Ads are not targeted at children.

9. Your Rights

Under the GDPR you can ask for access to, correction of or deletion of your personal data, and object to or restrict its processing. Local progress can be deleted by uninstalling the game or clearing its data. Cloud saves can be deleted from your Google Play Games settings. For any request, contact us at support@fhatal.com. You can also complain to the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman.
